Promoting SureFire’s external drive was a huge pleasure. The sleek design and RGB LEDS made the first impressions of sponsored content very easy to navigate and discuss. We focused our conversation on backing up game user configs, streaming files, Christmas holiday photos and expanding hardrive memory on PC, mobile and consoles.
On our Twitch platform we placed the SureFire art panel below our live stream player and a chatbox timer to send “🔥 Check out the all new SureFire external drives: https://linktr.ee/surefire“ every 8 minutes. Altogether the SureFire assets were on display throughout our December Twitch coverage of 2.87M minutes watched with 4,568 peak viewers and an average of 339 viewers.
We placed 19 call to actions posts across our other social media platforms with our Twitter posts generating 53,468 impressions and drawing an average of 140 likes per post. An extremely successful result with Twitters current algorithm against #ad and external links.
The sponsored content was very enjoyable and well received from our community. Thank you so much for the sponsorship. Giving the current hardships we’re really thankful. I’ve contacted Hotdrop on more opportunities SureFire may be interested in to expand on their brand awareness and social media presence.

On Saturday 5th December we focused our content solely on SureFire by taking the viewers on a journey of unboxing the product, removing the packaging, plugging the drive into our PC and backing up our master “BlueandQueenie” business folder to encourage why viewers should regularly backup those important files of family or business.
The focused SureFire unboxing and demonstration coverage was during our peak time of 6pm-7pm. We also did a small SureFire feature during our 12 Days of Christmas celebration event when a viewer picked the gift number allocated to the SureFire drive. With the help of our pug mascot 🐕 we unwrapped the drive on stream with focused SureFire shout outs, a product showcase and making sure to thank all brands who sponsor streamers during the current hard times.
With the SureFire logo set static on-stream we achieved 30,995 minutes watched with 1,910 live views, explaining the products at length and displaying the sleek RGB design of the SureFire drive alongside our own RGB setup.

There’s 2 things guaranteed to get our communities attention and that’s anything technology nerdy and anything RGB so the feedback we received from the community was extremely positive. We built up hype on stream throughout the week before receiving the SureFire package and released several teasing tweets before the unboxing 5th December stream. We had a mass amount of positive engagement replies on our Twitch showcase and social media posts regarding the price. The RGB design was also a focus for those aspiring to keep their setup aesthetically pleasing.
The winner of the SureFire 2TB drive for our 12 days of Christmas event was Laura Avery “Miscue”, from Maine USA. Shes promised to tweet a photo of the drive tagging SureFire’s twitter when it arrives with her. We’ll also be retweeting her tweet.
Ultimately the feedback was brilliant with many viewers buying a drive outright and the sponsored content was very enjoyable!
