We are Simon Blue and Row Queenie, a Twitch partnered couple team from the United Kingdom. For the last 5 years we’ve been working with the largest companies in the industry. Our focus is on having fun with chat engagement and community interaction. We began streaming 2015 as a hobby to spend more time together and a year later in 2016 we received Twitch.tv partnership. In 2017 we were financially able to quit our real life jobs and become full-time content creators.
Our setup consists of 2 gaming PCs and 1 streaming PC that creates our double perspective broadcast. Not only does this system stand out amongst the single streamers on the platform but it means we can cover all aspects of being a full time broadcasters and keep the focus on having fun with our community.
We specialise in community management, analytics and call to actions. In 2019 we worked with ASUS, Nvidia, Corsair Elgato, Steelseries, Redbull Gaming and many more. With our Photoshop skills and web development knowledge we’re able to quickly and cost efficiently complete all types of projects in-house.
Please take a look at our 📝sponsorship deck of our services, brand analytics, collaboration history and channel achievements.
By using specific call to actions and honest on stream reviews we have shown a high conversion rate. We believe with our tech based 2,000 member Discord community we can direct all PC purchases through Scan.
After the PC building stream, Jess invited us to continue the connection by joining Scan’s affiliation system. In the spirit of working with Scan in the future we have created a new PC specifications webpage, showcasing all 3 of our PC specifications with back links to Scan’s store page. We traffic all our community events and projects through our website to receive over 7,000 web visits per month.
In 2 months of the affiliate links going live we’ve made 40 conversions. This doesn’t include several community members who forgot to use the link. This was only gained through the PC specifications webpage. We track our analytics with our custom urls (e.g blueandqueenie.com/scan) meaning we’re able to track each sponsorship carefully. With a solid connection we know we’ll be able to increase this conversion.
For 2020 we have several plans in the works. Row will continue her success with our Instagram PC setup content and Simon will be growing our Youtube channel with hardware reviews. This creates more opportunities for Scan to be involved.
In February we collaborated with Western Digital via Scan in a PC building stream. In exchange for providing new hardware of our streaming PC we added Scan’s logo onto our stream overlay, built the PC during front page time, social media shout outs, chat box timers, a video unboxing and created a off stream gleam giveaway for a WD SN750 1TB NVMe.
For the off stream gleam giveaway we used our in house tools and the contest giveaway website Gleam.io. The giveaway listing included the product description from Scan’s store and a clear way to enter the giveaway. To gain entry tickets users had to follow our Scan and BlueandQueenie social media pages. We had a total of 422 entries with Thomas Birchall from Dewsbury, UK winning the NVMe. He has been an active member of the community for 2 years and builds his own PCs.
Across February we achieved over 2 Million minutes watched with Scan and WD_Black logos on stream. The atmosphere and feedback we got from front page for streaming a PC build was amazing. We had a huge turn out of PC build experts and enthusiasts who watched the PC build come together and power on first time. Our community were extremely happy to see the Western Digital and Scan sponsor. Overall building the PC on front page in front of 2,240 viewers was a nerve racking but extremely fun positive experience.
After the sponsorship we provided a full breakdown 📝report of the analytics, impressions, clips and achievements.
Christmas is always a big celebration on our channel and for December 2019 we hosted a 12 day long event. We had multiple sponsors get involved and everyone enjoyed having Scan and Razor taking part. In exchange for providing hardware for our Christmas event we added Scan’s logo onto our stream overlay and event poster. We also had multiple social media shout outs, chat box timers and we created a off stream gleam giveaway contest for a Razor Siren Emote mic.
Similar to the Western Digital NVMe giveaway, the off stream gleam giveaway consisted of us using in house tools and the contest giveaway website Gleam.io. Once again to gain entry tickets users had to follow our Scan and BlueandQueenie social media pages. We had a total of 934 users enter with Tim Wolfe from Illinois, US winning the 2nd Razor Siren Emote mic. He has been in our community for 4 years, avid streamer and also tweeted out several clips of the mic in action with his setup.
The event was a success in drawing 451K minutes watched and 14K live views on Twitch with Scan’s logo on stream. The winner of the on stream giveaway was David Ross from Scotland, UK who is a 3 year old community members and streamer. He also posted a thank you Tweet. The feedback we received from having Scan involved was amazing and all while having an extremely fun atmosphere in the Christmas event.
