MSI DECEMBER 2020 REPORT

2020 has been tough for everyone and for the festive period we wanted to host a special event for our community with big brand gifts leading up until Christmas. The gifts were very enjoyable to unwrap and well received from our community. Thank you so much for the sponsorship. Giving the current hardships we’re really thankful for your support of our community Christmas event.

As appreciation for helping us we placed a MSI logo overlay onto our Twitch stream, a MSI Twitch panel below our live stream player and a chatbox timer to send “🔥 Check out all the amazing MSI products: https://blueandqueenie.com/msi every 8 minutes, linking to our Scan.co.uk affiliate link. Altogether the MSI logo assets were on display throughout our December Twitch coverage of 2.12M minutes watched with 337,484 live views and a peak amount of 4,568 viewers.

We created a 12 days of Christmas poster with photos of the prizes and MSI’s logo on the sponsor footer. We released several call to actions posts across our other social media platforms tagging MSI accounts. Our Twitter posts generating 32,569 impressions and drawing 2221 likes. An extremely successful result with Twitters current algorithm against #ad and external links.

On Wednesday 23rd December we finally had a viewer pick the mystery Christmas gift from under our tree that contained the MSI gifts. With the help of our pug mascot 🐕 we unwrapped the keyboard and mouse on stream with focused MSI shout outs with a brief product showcase.

The winner of the MSI keyboard and mouse for our 12 days of Christmas event was Ryan Morris “Morrisboy”, from Wales. He is a long standing member of our community and we were happy to cover the postage fee. When the products arrived he tweeted out a thank you, which we retweeted onto both of our profiles.

There’s 2 things guaranteed to get our communities attention and that’s anything technology nerdy and anything RGB so the feedback we received from the community was extremely positive. We built up hype on stream throughout the event that MSI we’re involved. We also had a mass amount of positive engagement replies on our Twitch showcase and social media posts regarding the price. The RGB design was also a focus for those aspiring to keep their setup aesthetically pleasing.
