ABOUT US

BLUE AND QUEENIE

We are Simon and Row otherwise known as Blue and Queenie. We are UK influencers, consultants and full time content creators on the Twitch platform. For 6 years we’ve been creating a unique streaming experience, focusing on community interaction and entertainment. We present exclusive content and interviews on a variety of indie and upcoming games.

We met in 2014 while playing in a Battlefield 3 community together. With our team dynamic we’re successfully able to cover every aspect of what’s involved in being full time streamers and keep the focus on having fun with our community. We both believe in making friends outside of your normal environment with the opportunities of online gaming. Making friendships and creating adventures together has always been our driving force.

We’ve been fortunate enough to become successfully established in the UK streaming industry, receiving awards from large brands, Nvidia, Twitch UK, Razer and Red Bull Gaming. STAGE EVENTS

Cameras are no problem but we both have personal anxieties about being on stage in front of large audiences. We’ve set a goal to conquer this by joining more stage events. Pre-Covid lockdown we participated in UK stage events with Red Bull Gaming, Dublin Gaming Festival, Insomnia and EGX.

In 2018 we were honoured to be nominated for Red Bull’s Best British PUBG Streamer. We faced off against 100s of huge content creators like Break, Sacriel and many other Esports personalities on all streaming platforms. Contests are a quick way of generating brand and product awareness. Using in house tools and websites like Gleam.io we can create giveaways, contests and sweepstakes that drive real user engagement. When sponsoring with us, we offer the service to take the workload off companies and let us create the contest. We setup the Gleam contest, embed, advertise, create the promotional banner and Twitch panel artwork.

Gleam.io is a platform where users complete one click actions to gain entry tickets to a contest.

The competition websites uses a secure system to verify the entries to social networks. We’ve been using Gleam for 3 years, trialling the system for the 1st year then collaborating with companies to drive traffic to grow social media accounts and promote products.

By securely embedding the Gleam contest onto our website we’re able to effectively traffic the users from our Twitch channel, community Discord server, Twitter pages, Instagram stories and other social media platforms to the website. Since the website url blueandqueenie.com/giveaways has never changed we’ve found users will often go directly to the website at the start of each month to enter the contest. We’re also able to monitor the click-through ratio by comparing the webpage visit data to the amount of users in the contest. After 2 years our average click-through ratio is 94%.

From our experience the most successful sponsored streams have contests running to support the conversion rates. We can focus attention daily to the brand or product more naturally by shouting out the contest to the viewers.
